📌 According to the Public Relations Office of Sirjan University of Technology, on Wednesday, February 20, 2025, the first day of the university’s “Open Campus” program was held, during which approximately 110 male students from Shahed and Avicenna high schools in Sirjan visited the university.
🔸 As part of introducing the university’s academic activities and educational capacities, the students visited various facilities including the solar power plant, and laboratories for chemistry, physics, electrical engineering, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, and surveying, as well as the university’s sports amenities. At the end of the tour, students gathered in the university auditorium, where they enjoyed refreshments and participated in additional activities including a speech by the Vice President for Education and Research on academic programs and university resources, as well as an educational counseling session, followed by a quiz competition with prizes.
✅ It is worth noting that, in coordination with the Sirjan Department of Education, a group of female high school students will also visit the university next week as part of this ongoing program.
🔺 The aim of opening the university doors to local students is to familiarize teenagers with the academic environment of the university, enhance their knowledge about academic disciplines, resources, and achievements, and strengthen the bond between the university and the community.
